Psychology Services in Paris for Children, Adolescents and Adults
My Approach
My way of working is informed mostly by cognitive behavioral therapies (CBT), working with how our thoughts and beliefs affect our behaviors and emotions. Thinking, acting and feeling are all connected, and changing one will lead to positive changes in the others. I aim to create a warm and safe space where adults, adolescents and children can share their challenges and feel supported in their journey towards a richer, more fulfilled life. I adapt my approach to each individual's specific needs, combining CBT with other methods, such as systemic family therapies, play therapy, and relaxation techniques.

About Me
Originally from New York City, I'm an American clinical psychologist who has lived in Paris since 1992. I work with the English and French-speaking communities to improve their mental health and find solutions to their problems. My goal is to help people lead more fulfilling lives.
My clients are children, adolescents, and adults, often from bilingual families. With almost 30 years of practice in Paris, I have extensive knowledge of both the French medical and educational systems as well as the many anglophone networks that exist in the city. I am a long-standing member of the International Counseling Service (ICS) and SPRINT.

I hold a Doctorate in Clinical Psychology from the University of Connecticut, am licensed as a psychologist in the United States and am registered to practice psychology in France. I have held appointments at both Harvard Medical School and Tufts University School of Medicine. I have worked in a number of mental health settings including mental health clinics, hospitals and private practice in both France and in the United States. In addition, I was an adjunct assistant professor for many years at the American University of Paris.
